People should really think twice before jumping on social media to air their opinions!

Demi Lovato threw massive shade at Taylor Swift yesterday when news broke that the "Bad Blood" songstress had donated $250K to Kesha to fight her ongoing legal battle, but the former Disney star is now backtracking and insisting she didn't mean to slam the Grammy winner.

"As most people know, I tend to get fired up about the things I believe in, and although my heart and intentions are always in the right place, unfortunately sometimes my passion gets the best of me and causes me to say things that I probably shouldn't say. And when doing so it takes away from the real reason I am speaking up in the first place. Our focus should be on the topic of victims of sexual and physical abuse being afraid to come forward with their stories. They're more likely to face retaliation and harassment than to see justice being served. Especially women. It baffles me that when it comes to serious issues like equality and abuse, too often women are not taken as seriously as men. All I want to see is women coming together and actually making a difference. A real change and shift in society. Everyone has their own way of giving support to others , and at the end of the day, helping victims is all that matters. Ultimately, the message I want people to hear is it's okay to come forward with your abuse and if you do decide to take action, you are not alone," she captioned a photo of rape demographics on Instagram.

Also throwing in his two cents is Dr. Luke, the producer Kesha is accusing of drugging and raping her. Luke just took to Twitter to profess his innocence and urge supporters to think twice before believing the singer's claims.

"Until now I haven’t commented on the lawsuits, which should be resolved in court not here on Twitter. It’s a shame that there’s so much speculation out there basing itself on so little information. The only truly objective person who knows the facts is the judge. The judge did not rule in Kesha's favor on Friday. I understand why people without all the information are speaking out. I can appreciate their compassion. But lives can get ruined when there’s a rush to judgment before all the facts come out. Look what happened at UVA, Duke etc. Of course any sane person is against rape and sexual assault but everybody who is commenting is doing so without knowledge or facts. I didn’t rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her. Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister. Imagine if you or somebody you loved was publicly accused of a rape you knew they didn't do. Imagine that. I have 3 sisters, a daughter, and a son with my girlfriend, and a feminist mom who raised me right. Kesha and I made a lot of songs together and it was often good but there were creative differences at times. It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue. But I feel confident when this is over the lies will be exposed and the truth will prevail. This is an ongoing legal case so I won't be responding / talking much about this. This should be tried in a court of law," he ranted.

What a mess this whole thing has become!
