Prince was treated for a drug overdoes 6 days before his death, according to TMZ

Prince's private jet made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois Friday, just hours after he'd performed in Atlanta -- just 48 minutes from his final destination -- and his reps blamed it on the flu. Multiples sources are now telling TMZ, the singer was rushed to a local hospital after the landing, and administered a "save shot," typically given to counter the effects of an opiate overdose. The gossip site was told Prince was advised to stay in the hospital for at least 24 hours, but he disobeyed doctors' orders and went home to Paisley Park.

Prince's reps are not responding to media requests about the brief hospitalization, nor about the cause of the singer's death.
