A Britney Spears biopic is coming to Lifetime television -- and BritBrit is not happy about it!

The two-hour TV movie, tentatively titled Britney, is said to focus on Spears' road to success. The made-for-TV movie will revolve around her up-and-down career, love life, parents' divorce and her split from Justin Timberlake.

While many fans are sure to check out the tale that tells the trials and tribulations of the troubled singer, not everyone is thrilled about the movie — namely the “Make Me” singer herself.

Spears’ representative released a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday: ”Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic, nor does it have her blessing."

Hail, Caesar! actress Natasha Bassett will be playing the popstar. The movie is slated to begin filming singer in September is set to premiere in 2017.

Lifetime has previously based movies based on celebrities Whitney Houston and Brittany Murphy, and also on the casts of Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210.
