X17online has the first photos of Chris Brown in the back seat of an unmarked Dodge Charger police car, being driven by a plainclothes police officer to a local police station to turn himself in for a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon stemming from the crazy events that allegedly went down at his Tarzana mansion Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Baylee Curran filed a police report early this morning, alleging Brown pointed a gun at her and made threats after she admired a piece of jewelry the rapper's friend was wearing. The former beauty pageant contestant says Chris was "out of it" on drugs or alcohol.

Well, after a stand-off at Brown's home that lasted most of the day today, it seems the rapper has now been arrested, probably after his power-attorney Mark Garagos organized a deal with the Los Angeles DA. A judge did NOT end up getting a search and seizure warrant today to enter Brown's home without the singer's consent and we have a feeling that was a trade made behind-the-scenes in exchange for Brown agreeing to submit to arrest.

Oh, the wonders lawyers work! Let's see what Garagos can do for Brown in the courtroom ... Geragos reached a plea deal for Chris in the Rihanna assault case and avoided jail time, but then Brown violated his probation like a dumbass and got a year in jail. Will Chris avoid the slammer this time???
