For the first time since the notorious private jet incident on Sept. 14, Brad Pitt has finally visited with his 15-year-old son, Maddox, reports TMZ.

The outlet is claiming sources in Angelina's camp say the father and son met with a therapist on Wednesday. The two were reportedly supposed to meet up earlier in the month, however the family's therapist didn't think it was the right time for the two to reunite.

Prior to the Wednesday reunion, Brad had met with his five other children under supervision. Apparently Maddox refused to meet with Brad when the rest of the kids did -- so the fact that they ended up getting together is a big step.

On Sept. 30, Brad and Angelina agreed to a temporary custody agreement in which Angelina gets temporary physical custody and Brad gets visitation.

The Department of Children and Family Services is still investigating the airplane incident in which it's alleged that Brad came in contact with Maddox when the boy tried to defend his mother. The FBI questioned Angelina and the kids Tuesday for the "fact-finding" mission.
