Bud Light

This is the most amazing news ever.

Lady Gaga announced that she's going to be performing at a string of local watering holes to promote her upcoming album, and little monsters everywhere are totally freaking out!

"My first performances were in dive bars in New York City and around the country, so working with Bud Light to go back to my roots to perform songs from my new album, Joanne, is such an exciting way to connect with my fans and share this music with them for the first time,” she explained of the Bud Light x Lady Gaga Dive Bar tour, set to kick off this week.

She also followed up the exciting announcement with a tweet to her fans. "Can't wait to sing new songs from my album #JOANNE for you on my #DiveBarTour with @budlight! First show Oct 5!" she wrote.

So who is Joanne, and why is Gagaloo's album named after her?

"When Mark [Ronson] and I wrote it, the decision to name the album that was in tribute to my father's sister, who died when she was 19. He was younger than her. She was very sick with Lupus. The death of her in his family and life left a scar that never healed. [The album is] everything about Joanne, which also happens to be my middle name. It's all the toughness of the pain of losing her that made us all strong and made us who we are. She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future," she revealed during an interview with Zayn Lowe on Beats 1.

The first show, set to take place on Wednesday in a still-undisclosed location, will be streamed live via Facebook.
