Amber Heard may not be a fan of Johnny Depp, but it appears as though J.K. Rowling is!

Despite all nasty hubbub with his ex wife, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is slated to star has slated to star in the next Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Deadline reports.

Depp makes a cameo in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opens on November 18, but it appears as if the 53-year-old will have a starring role in the already announced sequel.

The film, based on Rowling's 2001 book of the same name, stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, who travels to 1920s New York and accidentally unleashes magical creatures on the Big Apple.

Director David Yates will begin filming the second installment of the five-movie series in January 2017. The sequel will be released on November 16, 2018, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
