She's got more than a few friends in her corner!

Late night hosts had a field day with Donald Trump's attack on Meryl Streep and her Golden Globes acceptance speech last night, and it had us laughing! George Clooney also weighed in on the future President's "overrated actress" comments, and it seems pretty much everyone in Hollywood is standing by the Oscar winner.

"Trump was too focused on defeating ISIS and creating jobs to pick a fight with a celebrity. Just kidding. Wait a second, I’m sorry, what? What? What did you just say? Meryl Streep, overrated? Have you seen Sophie’s Choice? Have you seen The French Lieutenant’s Woman? Have you seen that one with the dead people, that she’s even funny in that one? Look, Mr. Trump, you can refuse to release your taxes. You can call to ban an entire religion. You can play footsie with a dictator. But calling Meryl Streep overrated? No! No! Too far," Stephen Colbert sarcastically joked on The Late Show.

"In a tense exchange yesterday, a U.S. Navy destroyer fired warning shots at fast-approaching Iranian naval ships. So, of course, our President-elect tweeted about how overrated Meryl Streep is. I mean, sure, she’s no Scott Baio, but overrated, you know, like when a reality star who’s filed for bankruptcy is elected President of the United States, it’s like that. Truth is, this was actually good news for Meryl — because ‘most overrated actress in Hollywood’ was literally the only award she hadn’t won yet," James Corden quipped on The Late Late Show.

Conan O'Brien put a different spin on the comedy hour and invented a fake phone call between Trump and President Obama!

"Listen, ya see my tweet about Meryl Streep?” fake Trump asked. When Obama replied, “Yes, it was ridiculous. She’s a beloved figure and an incredibly talented actress,” Trump quipped, “She’s no Tara Reid.”

Seth Meyers took a more serious tone on Late Night as he dedicated his "Closer Look" segment to the feud.

"Overrated? She’s so good, people use her to compliment people in other professions. Like LeBron James is the Meryl Streep of basketball. Or Donald Trump is the Meryl Streep of having thin skin. Whether these tweets are calculated distractions or just the ramblings of an unhinged narcissist, it’s clear Trump would much rather talk about his feud with Meryl Streep than, say, the fact that intelligence officials believe Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign to help Trump win the election," he highlighted.

As for George Clooney, well... he relied on a little humor when addressing the real estate mogul's ridiculous tweet, but then got serious about how he thinks he'll do as our Commander in Chief.

"I believe he said she's overrated? Well, I've always said that about Meryl. She's one of, if not the most, overrated actress of all time. She and I worked together and played husband and wife in [2009's] Fantastic Mr. Fox. Even as a female fox, she was overrated. I believe that. [Laughs] But seriously, aren't you supposed to be running the country?" he told Us Weekly.

"We have to hope he can do a decent job because when the president of the United States fails, really terrible things happen. We've been very lucky as a country most of the time. I think we're going to be a little unlucky now, but I hope for the best. Look: I didn't vote for him, I don't support him and I don't think he's the right choice. But we have to hope that he doesn't destroy everything," he added.

This is all fun and games, until you think about the fact Trump will be in charge in less than two weeks...
