We had no idea this woman's story was so heartbreaking.

Rose McGowan addresses the most painful moments of her life in her new memoir Brave, and we've gotta hand it to her for having the courage to come forward with such personal details.

Obviously the most talked-about account is her rape by "The Monster" Harvey Weinstein, which she revealed happened at his hotel room in Park City, Utah, during the Sundance Film Festival in 1997. She says the disgraced movie exec took all her clothes off as she "froze" and then performed oral sex on her while masturbating as she sat on the side of the jacuzzi. "He moans loudly; through my tears I see his semen floating on top of the bubbles,” she wrote. Awful!

Afterward, she says Weinstein called all his Hollywood friends and told them not to work with her, effectively destroying her acting career.

"It seemed like every creep in Hollywood knew about my most vulnerable and violated moment. And I was the one who was punished for it," she added.

She also spoke of her love affair with Marilyn Manson, and how she ultimately had to end their relationship because of their differences. “There is great love, but our lifestyle difference is, unfortunately, even greater. I just couldn’t do the lifestyle anymore. I was too tired," she explained.

As for her plastic surgery? She admitted that she lied about it for years, attributing her changing appearance to reconstructive surgery from a car accident, but that it was actually the result of a botched sinus surgery which left her looking unrecognizable.

Before she made it to Hollywood, things weren't any easier! She was raised in a cult and forced into a relationship with a much older man when she was just 15. He was abusive, and after she escaped, she had her first big love with a man that was later stabbed to death.

It's a miracle she made it to the other side. Bravo, Rose!
