He didn't mean this to be funny, but it's hilarious!

Melania Trump caused a total uproar yesterday by wearing a jacket emblazoned with the words "I Don't Care, Do U?" written across the back while visiting a migrant children detention center, but her husband Donald has a perfectly good explanation for the hidden message she was apparently trying to send.

"‘I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?’ written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!” he tweeted as the backlash began.

Maybe the POTUS should talk to his wife's team? It sounds like they didn't get that memo!

"Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly. If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids – rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket," Melania’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, tweeted.

I think we can all agree we are spending WAY too much time decoding this!
