Ouch!

Designer Stefano Gabanna took a swipe at Selena Gomez's appearance on social media yesterday, and almost immediately he began getting major backlash for his catty comments.

"É proprio brutta!!!," he wrote on a pic of the "Come & Get It" songstress. The translation in English? "She's so ugly!!!" it read.

Although the brunette beauty has yet to respond, 13 Reasons Why actor Tommy Dorfman quickly came to her defense.

"@stefanobabbana you’re tired and over. your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018. it is no longer tolerable or chic. please take many seats," Dorfman wrote.

This isn't the first time the D&G founder has made waves with his controversial opinions. He recently dissed Kate Moss, and he's also been outspoken about opposing LGBTQ adoption, despite the fact that he's openly gay.
