New details are coming to light.

Demi Lovato overdosed after an all-night party at her Hollywood Hills home, following a night out at Saddle Ranch bar for her backup dancer's birthday, TMZ reports.

The singer was found unconscious just before noon, and at that point all the "friends" at her house had vanished, leaving just a member or two of her remaining team to call an ambulance.

Apparently, the songstress had been on a slippery downward spiral with drugs for weeks, and some of her closest pals saw this coming as her relapse carried on longer and longer. Others, though, say they saw no warning signs in the days leading up to the incident.

It's been widely reported that she overdosed on heroin, but multiple sources are saying that tid bit is inaccurate. If we had to guess, painkillers are the culprit of this unfortunate set of circumstances.

"Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now," her rep said in a statement to news outlets.

We hope she gets the help she needs.
