Demi Lovato was using meth in the days leading up to her scary overdose, The Blast reports.

Police found paraphernalia and drug remnants at her Hollywood Hills home while responding to the 911 call, and a nurse from the hospital told the outlet that meth was found in the singer's system.

It's still unclear what specific drug triggered the overdose itself, though. Narcan, a drug used to counteract the effects of opioid overdose, was used on the chart topper, which would lead to the conclusion that it was either heroin or painkillers or some other opioid-derived substance.

The 26-year-old has been open about her battles with addiction, mental illness, self-harm, and eating disorders, and she previously admitted to abusing OxyContin, along with cocaine and alcohol.

The pop star reportedly refused to tell emergency responders what she had taken as they transported her to Cedars-Sinai medical center in LA.

Thank God she's going to be OK!
