Kim Kardashian is really gearing up for her August 20th wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries by taste-testing potential wedding cakes with mom Kris Jenner.

The bride-to-be sampled all sorts of tasty treats at Hansen Cakes in LA and stopped by Mark's Garden, an upscale florist in Sherman Oaks.

All the wheels are in motion for the big day which will take place just outside of Santa Barbara at a Montecito estate, the couple's wedding announcement reveals.

The last big wedding in the area was Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth's. Before that, you may remember Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were set to tie the knot there -- but they called it off just days before! Better luck to the K's!

January Jones is spending some quality time with her pup ahead of the birth of her baby. You know, jealousy will set in when, all of a sudden, the little lap dog isn't the only one in the actress' life.

Mad Men starts shooting next week so Jan will be back at work. She's still got another month or so before the baby's due ... you think she'll name it September?

Angelina Jolie may have gotten rich being an actress, but she says she "doesn't love it" as much as she used to.

Jolie explains to the Financial Times:

"I've never not been grateful to be an actor. But I think when I was younger I needed [acting] more. I was trying to question things in life so you find these characters that help you find things and grow ... I'm older and I know who I am… and I'm less interested in the character helping me answer something… than in being able to answer it for myself, as a woman, as an adult, with my family."

But don't misunderstand her, Jolie's got no plans to retire, she just prefers another role in life: "I don't love [acting] as much as I did]. I love being a mom."

And this is a mom who loves to travel -- she says the best way to raise kids is on the road (or in a private jet, in her case): "Home is wherever we are ... I'm very bad at staying in one place. I'm also bad at sitting still… There's so much to explore in the world… So I love travel. If you can travel I think it's the best way to raise kids."

In fact, Jolie says she'd love to retire young and become a professional nomad with her partner Brad Pitt and kids Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5 and the twins Vivienne and Knox, 3: "We've had a nice run and I don't want to be doing this our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do."

Kristin Cavallari is back on the market after ending her engagement to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler last week, but she's already enjoying the single life!

The Laguna Beach star headed to West Hollywood hot spot, The Abbey Food And Bar, for a ladies-only lunch, looking bohemian-esq in a long tribal skirt and white tee.

A source told X17 Online exclusively of the recent split: "Jay and his family were making fun of Kristin's dad's height a lot, and she got sick of it. That combined with a few other compatibility issues, lead them to break off the engagement."

Kristin tweeted after the breakup was announced, expressing: "Thanks for the support. Love u guys."

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo may have tied the knot in secret, but now they're sharing all of the intimate details from their big day in a new special, airing on TLC tomorrow.

Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding will follow the newlywed's journey down the aisle, and will also feature footage from their joint wedding shower, Minnillo’s wedding dress shopping and their July 15 Bahamas nuptials.

The pair got engaged last November, and had been planning their wedding in secret for months.

The power couple even flew their wedding guests to the secret location as a surprise. Lachey revealed, "Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket. We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’ It was all very vague."

The Wipeout host donned a two-piece Monique Lhuillier wedding dress with a lace corset and a hand tufted skirt made of silk faille. The 98 Degrees singer looked dapper in a Dolce & Gabanna suit.

"Firstly, it was a great investment and I got a really good deal, and it's kind of prime real estate. I'm planning to move to L.A. I wanted to have an amazing home where hopefully in the future I'll be raising a family. My family from London will be coming to visit so I'll need loads of space. But it really was a great investment."

Before you start counting the ways you hate her, Petra does donate to charity and claims to work regular 9-5 hours despite being born wealthy. In fact, while she admits that she does have a lavish lifestyle, Petra says she's still grounded. The heiress stated:

"I'm not spoiled, I'm privileged, and I think there's a huge difference in that."
