Adele is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, the "Rolling In the Deep" singer announced the happy news on her official website today.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx," she wrote to her fans.

The Grammy winner began dating divorced dad Konecki earlier this year. The British chart topper sparked engagement rumors in February when she was spotted wearing a yellow diamond on her engagement finger at the BRIT awards, but shot down the speculation on her Twitter in May.

Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes are calling it quits after five years of marriage, according to various online reports.

Holmes' attorney released the following statement:

"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

Cruise, 49, and Holmes, 33, tied the knot back in November 2006. Their daughter Suri is now 6.

This was Katie's first marriage and the third for Tom. The Rock of Ages star was previously married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.

The two LAPD officers accused of leaking the photo of a battered Rihanna have been cleared of criminal charges.

The LA District Attorney has dismissed the case due to lack of evidence that the cops were paid by TMZ ... the gossip site that published the photo.

The photo was posted in 2009 shortly after Chris Brown punched his then-girlfriend in the front seat of their rented Lamborghini.

Both female cops, who have been identified as 28-year-old Blanca Lopez and 39-year-old Rebecca Reyes, were paid a reported $62,000, however searches of their bank accounts showed no evidence of payment.

Khloe Kardashian has a lot to celebrate!

The reality star treated herself to dinner at Boa Steakhouse in Beverly Hills in honor of her 28 birthday on Thursday night -- the very same day it was revealed that hubby Lamar Odom has been traded to the LA Clippers!

Kardashian looked lovely in a an all-black ensemble paired with a bright red Hermes Birkin, and it looks like she got a few doggy bags to bring home for her NBA player hubby!

Big sis Kim posted a sweet bday message to her baby sister on her blog, sharing: "Happy birthday Khloball!!! I love you more than you know," Kim K. wrote. "I am so proud of the woman and wife you have become."

Khloe and Lamar have had a dramatic past few months after he was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks, and then was dropped from the Texas team. The couple’s reality show, Khloe & Lamar, also went on hiatus early this year so Lamar could focus on basketball, and they both want to focus on having a family.

Fingers crossed Khloe will have a bun in the oven before her 29 bday!

Whitney Houston's final music video has been released for the song "Celebrate" which is a track from the upcoming film Sparkle. Houston stars alongside the gorgeous Jordin Sparks.

The "I Will Always Love You" singer looks incredible in the flick.

Former French First Lady Carla Bruni is expecting her third child with former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, which comes after reports that she has "fallen into depression."

This will be the second child for the couple, France's Closer magazine reported, and Bruni, 44, gave birth to a baby girl Guilia on October 19, 2011, the first baby born to a French presidential couple in office.

Doctors are reportedly urging the former supermodel to have "total rest" because she is an older mother giving birth in her 40s, Closer reported, saying: "For several weeks people have been asking why she had not been able to shift the extra weight for her last baby."

"We wondered what the Sarkozy couple would do with themselves after leaving office, and now we know - play happy families!"

Sarkozy has two sons, Pierre, 25, and Jean, 23, from his first marriage to Marie-Dominique Culioli, who he divorced in 1996, as well as a 13-year-old son from his second marriage to Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz, who he divorced in 2007.

Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian better start packing because they're moving back to LA!

The basketball star has been traded to The Los Angeles Clippers, according to the Associated Press.

Odom was previously playing for the Dallas Mavericks, however the Mavs were motivated to trade him since today was the last day he could be bought out for $2.4 million.

Perhaps Khloe and Lamar's reality show will be back on the air sooner than later!

The couple put their reality show on hold this year after two seasons so that Odom could focus on his basketball career. This move sounds like it's paying off.
