Nick and Aaron Carter's younger sister Leslie has died.

The 25-year-old singer passed away Tuesday in New York. The Carter family released the following statement:

"Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter."

Leslie was featured with her family on the 2006 reality show House of Carters.

She is survived by her husband Mike and daughter Alyssa Jane.

Aaron Carter is beginning the new year in rehab. The 23-year-old singer has checked into an unnamed facility "to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with," according to his manager Johnny Wright.

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter's younger brother recently asked Wright to "restart" his career.

As for how Aaron's rehab stint came about, Wright released the following statement, "He has been in Orlando working on a new album, perfecting his live show and his physical body." He's in rehab for "the guidance and cleansing he needs. Which is turn will help him on the music journey he's about to take."

Wright adds, "Aaron asks that everyone keep him in their prayers and that they respect his privacy at this time."

Aaron Carter is not only working on a new album, but a totally new body, hitting the gym overtime to develop his own situation.

"I've been at Johnny Wright's compound working on my mind, music, and body for a new album release!" Carter tweeted, about the work he's doing with the famous Backstreet Boys manager. Looks like someone's working overtime!

Aaron Carter spoke to a CNN interviewer last night about ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan's recent drama in court, and boy did he have a mouthful of advice! Here's the best quote:

"She deserves it. I'm not gonna give any sympathy for somebody who makes mistakes. You need to take fault for your own actions."

If you're looking for sympathy, stay far away from Aaron Carter! Wait, what is he famous for again?

Aaron Carter is engaged yet again, this time to his 19-year-old girlfriend Maile Hochuli, 19.

The couple have reportedly been friends for years, but they just started dating in early 2010. A source tells Star mag:

"Aaron took Maile to the movie Alice in Wonderland, which she has been dying to see. She didn't get to see the end of the movie though because Aaron got down on a knee and proposed with a beautiful pear shaped diamond ring! Maile was completely overjoyed and said yes immediately!"

Aaron was previously engaged to Playboy model and Eric Dane/Rebecca Gayheart sex tape partner Kari Ann Peniche for a week in 2006.

Everyone's dream guy, Aaron Carter, dashed the hopes of millions of girls when he professed that he was in love... with Lady GaGa!

"I love you baby," he said to GaGa (via X17's cameras). "I'm a single guy and I heard you're single." Sounds like a match made in heaven!

But GaGa isn't the only celebrity Carter's got his eye on. When asked about Paula Abdul appearing on Dancing With the Stars, Carter replied, "I think that Paula Abdul is very hot, so I think I'll watch it... I'm into the cougars."

Talk about a random pairing! But Aaron Carter and La Toya Jackson weren't the only celebs at the AIDS Walk over the weekend - we also snapped Sharon Stone, Mary-Louise Parker and Felicity Huffman speaking at the event, which helped raise over $3.1 million for AIDS funding and awareness.

Whoa, isn't this supposed to be the other way around?

Kelly Osbourne, who moved her mom to tears in the first round of DWTS had some major missteps last night with the Tango. She may have looked red hot in a red dress, but her performance left the judges cold, giving her just 19 points to score third from the bottom of the pack as her mother and fiance Luke Worrall looked on.

But the surprise of the night was Aaron Carter, who scored a 27 out of 30 for his quickstep with partner Karina Smirnoff. The judges called him "spectacular", "inventive" and "a pleasure," but we found the choice of wardrobe (Kermit green) and song, (The Muppet Show theme) so bizarre and distracting we don't really know HOW he danced, but I guess it was good, right?
