Adam Lambert Will Return To The AMAs This Weekend

Good news for all of you Adam Lambert lovers!
The American Idol alum will make an appearance at the American Music Awards this weekend, and while he won't be performing, he will be presenting an award. Back in 2009, the singer caused an uproar when he kissed bassist Tommy Joe Ratliff and simulated oral sex during his performance of "For Your Entertainment", but it looks like it wasn't such a big deal after all.
“Adam Lambert was never banned from the show,” American Music Awards executive producer Larry Klein tells THR. “That thing got so out of control and was just so out of left field ... We laugh about it to this day." So will Adam perform again in the future? “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he's talented and I like everything about him,” Klein said. "We’d absolutely have him back.”
No word on whether Adam will poke fun at the incident, but we'll see soon enough! The 39th annual American Music Awards air on Sunday at 8pm EST on ABC.

I am thrilled to see Adam Lambert back on the AMAs. He made a mistake, forgetting that this was a televised performance and owned up to it. He has since shown what a spectacular polished performer he is, with a successful sold out worlwide GlamNation Tour . Queen chose him to honor their tears of iconic music, a great honor that Adam did with elegance and humility. His vocals were stunning, as was his stage presence. Glad the AMAs are recognizing his talent and his millions of fans excitement being back on that stage, if only presenting. Next year hope he will be performing!
Adam Lambert is so talented it's difficult to label him. He deserves to be on that stage and I'm so glad that the brouhaha is finally done! Hope there will be no more double standards. Adam really is a classy,smart guy in real life, well loved worldwide. He is an actor, interpreting nthe lyrics of whatever he sings. That is what is so exciting and mesmerising about him. He can actually sing without anyone or anything and be powerful and beautiful. He has it all. I hope the prejudices will fall away and his voice and music will be what matters! He is truly gifted. His vocal and theatrical training is superb. He can be the Elvis or MJ of this generation. Just listen, watch and enjoy!
