Adam Sandler bent it like ... Beckhamette? ... today on the set of Jack and Jill in which he plays, well, a woman.
Sandy plays a guy (married to a woman played by Katie Holmes) whose sister comes to visit and doesn't want to leave town. The twist? -- Adam is both the brother and the sister!
Which got us thinking ... isn't it a rite of passage for all great male comic actors to play a woman? Martin Lawrence in Big Momma's House, Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie, Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire, Eddie Murphy in Nutty Professor, Tony Curtis in Some Like It Hot and Tyler Perry in Madea's Family Reunion and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. So add Adam Sandler to the list!
This is gonna be a great film -- why do we love men dressing up as women so much?!
