Adele Shows Her Sexy Side In The New Issue Of Vogue

Karl Lagerfeld may have said that Adele "is a little too fat," but clearly he hadn't seen her March cover of Vogue! Adele looks amazing on the fashion glossy, and she chats about everything from her throat surgery to her Grammy nominations -- looks like she had no idea she'd win big in five categories at last night's ceremony!

Despite her success, Adele reveals that she prefers a low key lifestyle, and she's not a fan of the spotlight. The 23-year-old singer tells the mag, “I hate the red carpet. I don’t feel insecure, I just feel like, Oh, I don’t want to do this. I literally get a stomach cramp. At the VMA’s last year I felt really out of my comfort zone because there were so many superstars there. But that’s been the case from day one. I never feel like, Oh, yeah, I should be here. And I was missing my best friend’s hen night. So I was a bit bitter that I wasn’t there, to be perfectly honest.”

So what about Lagerfeld's nasty remarks? "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines," she recently told People. "I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that." Lagerfeld has since apologized, telling Metro that he shouldn't have been so critical. "I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off," he said. "I know how it feels when the press is mean you to you in regards to your appearance. Adele is a beautiful girl. She is the best. And I can't wait for her next CD."
