Adnan Ghalib Sentenced To 45 Days In Jail

Britney Spears' former boy toy, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib was sentenced to 45 days in county jail today after pleading no contest to hit-and-run charges. In case you've forgotten, Adnan reportedly ran over a process server with his car last February and then fled the scene of the accident. Oops!
Adnan was initially charged with three felonies, but the assault with a deadly weapon and battery charges were dropped as a part of his plea deal. Adnan will also be put on probation for 36 months and he has to complete 52 weeks of anger management classes along with 45 days of hard labor. Sounds like fun!

He’s a foreign national and convicted felon. Two separate courts issued a criminal protective order and a 3-year restraining order. He should make plans to leave the United States by the end of his probation instead of waiting for INS to initiate deportation proceedings. It stands to reason her father and ex-husband’s lawyers will urge INS to take action. Deportation would be more expedient then returning to court to extend the restraining order in March 2012.
