Paris & Adrian Get Serious

After posing for a few dozen photos outside of the Malibu Beach House on Saturday, Paris Hilton and new BFF (and perhaps more?) Adrian Grenier headed out to catch a flick at the Landmark Theater. But this wasn't just some cheesy date flick, mind you - the couple went to see Taxi To The Dark Side, a new documentary about the ongoing practice of torture at Guantanamo Bay. Judging by Adrian's impassioned response when we bumped into the pair after the movie, it must have been quite a movie - heck, even Paris couldn't stay aloof from its message! (Kinda puts Lynwood in perspective, huh?)

All kidding aside, Taxi To The Dark Side really does look like it's worth watching - after all, the subject of torture being carried out against Guantanamo Bay detainees isn't really "sexy" news by the standards of traditional media outlets, and a documentary dedicated to the subject may well have some substantial points to raise about the issue. Still - who ever expected to be hearing about it from Aquaman?

Honestly, who fucking cares about all of this crap? People need to be more concerned about the things that actually matter in life. Adrian Grenier seems like a good actor, with a good head on his shoulders. If he wants to hang out with Paris Hilton, why does it matter? Maybe he can shed some light on her. She is the most photographed woman ever, or so it seems. If she made a better model of herself for the people who care so much about her, a lot of good could potentially come from it.
