Alec Baldwin Is All Smiles After Scuffle With Photographer

Alec Baldwin ventured out on the streets of N.Y.C. with wife Hilaria Thomas and infant daughter Carmen today, and the 30 Rock star was in noticeably better spirits than he was yesterday, when he attacked a photographer for snapping pictures of his spouse and newborn baby.

The actor is notoriously hot tempered, but he better learn to keep his cool or go to anger management!

Carmen's older sister and Alec's eldest daughter Ireland is overjoyed at the newest addition to their family, and even penned an open advice letter to the little one after her birth, giving suggestions like "walk away" from arguments with parents.

"WALK AWAY. This applies to arguments. Especially with your parents. I have said many things to our Dad and to my mom that I regret terribly. I have hurt their feelings countless times. It isn’t worth it. Don’t dish shitty things right back at them. Don’t say things out of anger. You will get extremely annoyed with your parents. TRUST ME. Parents are cray cray and sometimes you want to just put a muzzle on it. BUT they don’t make muzzles for parents and again, it just isn’t worth it. Just say you’re sorry and leave it at that," she wrote in the letter on her Tumblr page.

With a dad like Alec, we think Ireland's advice is spot on!

Hours after his scuffle with a veteran photographer, Alec Baldwin, 55, was snapped looking at ease with wife Hilaria, 29, and newborn daughter Carmen in New York City on Tuesday.

Hilaria, a 29-year-old yoga instructor, gave birth to Carmen Gabriela Baldwin on Friday. And just days later, the former "30 Rock" actor, his busty bride and covered-up daughter were spotted leaving their Greenwich Village digs, entering a chauffeured car, visiting the doctor and then shopping at several trendy baby stores, including Giggle.

While all things appeared to be all quiet on the Western front in these pics, the scene was quite a different one earlier today. At around noon, Baldwin got in a scuffle with 60-year-old New York photographer Paul Ado in front of several witnesses while on a Manhattan street. The hot-tempered actor even pinned the photog to the hood of a parked car during the incident.

Cops were called to University Place and E. 10th Street around 12:25 p.m., however neither side filed a report and no arrests were made, a police source told the the New York Daily News.

"We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect. @ABFalecbaldwin @IrelandBBaldwin," Hilaria posted.

This marks the first child for the couple who've been together since last summer and second specifically for the 30 Rock actor, who's the father of his 17-year-old daughter Ireland from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.

Look at these proud parents-to-be!

On Friday Alec Baldwin and his very pregnant wife Hilaria went to lunch in New York City, and the lovebirds held hands and happily smiled for the cameras.

If this is the new and improved Alec, we're loving it! He hasn't been active on Twitter since tweeting a slew of angry and homophobic messages back in June, but maybe he's been seeing someone for his anger issues? Or maybe he's mellowing out as he prepares to be a father again? Either way, we're glad to see him looking relaxed and happy in the presence of photographers and reporters.

Hilaria is due any day now, and the former yoga instructor posted an old pic of her toned frame in a complicated pose and wrote, "#Tbt yoga play. My... How that belly can grow, grow, grow! Hopefully it shrinks back..." We're sure it will!

Alec Baldwin Vows Not To Tweet Again, Wants To Quit Acting

Jul 3, 2013 09:00 AM

Alec Baldwin has vowed never to tweet again. Good riddance ...

After deleting his account on Thursday following a homophobic Twitter tirade, the actor told Vanity Fair he won't return to the social media site. Then again, this is the third time in less than two years he's made this promise so he should never say never.

I went to Jimmy Gandolfini’s funeral, and when I was there I realized Jimmy Gandolfini didn't have Twitter. Jimmy Gandolfini was so beloved as a person, and he was so admired as an actor, and he didn’t give a f**k about social media."

Not only is it bizarre that he was thinking about tweeting during his friend's funeral service, but it's odd that the event that sparked his Twitter exit in the first place was a Daily Mail misreport that his pregnant wife Hilaria tweeted during Gandolfini's funeral. Alec went on the offensive and harassed reporter George Stark, calling him a "lying little bitch" and a "toxic little queen." Some of his vicious remarks included, "If put my foot up your f**king a**, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much" and "I'm gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna f**k…you…up." Baldwin has since apologized for the "ill-advised attack." He said his comments had nothing to do with the reporter's sexual orientation.

Baldwin said social media is "a waste of time" and is merely used by critics to attack him.

It's just another chink in your armor for people to come and kill you. I stopped and said to myself, I'm going to try where I just don't do this anymore.

And following his infamous threatening voicemail to daughter Ireland (from first wife Kim Basinger) back in 2007, he said he wants his future daughter with Hilaria not to be in the limelight.

And everyone has seen how certain things have played out with my daughter, which has been very painful — it's been really unpleasant. That has consequences, and I do not want that to happen with my next child. I have one dream in my life and that is that this daughter I'm having — she comes to me about seven or eight years from now, she has a friend, and she's at her house and she says, "Daddy, Susie's mom says you used to be on TV. Daddy, is that true?" She has no knowledge of me as a public person. That would be heaven for me.

Meaning he'd "love to" quit acting if he could "find something else to do." "That would be the greatest thing in the world," he said. Baldwin has discussed leaving show business before, but has never followed through.

Alec Baldwin Makes First Public Appearance with Pregnant Wife After Twitter Rant

Jul 2, 2013 11:40 AM

Alec Baldwin

Days after blowing up Twitter with a homophobic rant, Alec Baldwin made his first public appearance with his pregnant wife Hilaria on Monday night. The controversial former 30 Rock star was out and about in New York City to celebrate the opening night of his Rock Paper photography exhibit at Gallery 151 in Chelsea. Hmm ... maybe not the best neighborhood for Alec to show his face!

Last week, Alec came under fire for going after Daily Mail journalist George Stark, who had accused Hilaria of tweeting during James Gandolfini’s funeral. On Friday he apologized for the verbal explosion, claiming his irate comments didn't stem from "homophobia."

In an apology to GLAAD and the Gothamist, the Emmy winner wrote:

“My ill-advised attack on George Stark of the Daily Mail had absolutely nothing to do with issues of anyone’s sexual orientation. My anger was directed at Mr. Stark for blatantly lying and disseminating libelous information about my wife and her conduct at our friend’s funeral service. As someone who fights against homophobia, I apologize.”

We wonder if Alec's lady love was Tweeting during his exhibition? For her sake, we hope not!

Alec Baldwin Goes On Twitter Tirade After Misreport That Wife Tweeted At Gandolfini's Funeral

Alec Baldwin + gossip reporter + Twitter = a recipe for #disaster.

The 30 Rock star went on a Twitter tirade on Thursday when a Daily Mail writer reported that his pregnant wife, Hilaria, posted upbeat tweets during James Gandolfini's funeral. Hilaria denied the allegations, which claimed that she tweeted about her first wedding anniversary and an upcoming Rachael Ray Show appearance. Mrs. Baldwin also tweeted (after the funeral) that she doesn't believe in taking phones to funerals, "I never did and I never would."

It turns out that the reporter failed to account for the fact that Twitter converts timestamps into your own time zone. The writer, George Stark, works in Los Angeles, while Hilaria was three hours ahead in New York City. Gandolfini's funeral ran from about 10 to 11:30 a.m.; the Baldwins left 40 to 45 minutes into the service after the eulogies and before Communion. Hilaria began tweeting at 11:47 a.m.

Fuming over the misreport, Alec used his @ABFoundation handle to harass and threaten George. He scattered profanities in between homophobic and violent slurs before quitting the social networking site altogether. AGAIN! He also left Twitter in July 2012 and December 2011.

Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That's not true. But I'm gonna tweet at your funeral.
George Stark, you lying little bitch. I am gonna f%#@ you up.
My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this f**king trash
If put my foot up your f**king a**, George Stark, but I'm sure you'd dig it too much
I'm gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I'm gonna f**k…you…up.
    I don't have a publicist anymore. I fired them.
How much of this sh** are people supposed to take? With these fu**ing blatant lies EVERY DAY.
My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral. Now, f**k this twitter + good luck to all of you who know the truth

His wife, on the other hand, was more PC with her remarks. Two months shy of giving birth, her maternal instincts must be kicking in.

Daily Mail is not having a good week ...

The couple left their Manhattan pad with their puppy and luggage in hand on Friday amid the scandal.
