Alexa Ray Joel Hospitalized After Reported Drug Overdose!

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's 23-year-old daughter Alexa Ray Joel was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital in NYC after a reported drug overdose.
A rep for the family tells People, "[Alexa] is stable and her doctors are assessing her needs," and several websites are claiming that paramedics came to Alexa’s NYC apartment at 12:19PM today after an unidentified female caller told the dispatcher that Alexa had “taken pills.” When EMTs arrived, they say Alexa was having difficulty breathing, and no other information has been released at this point in time.

This is so sad no matter rich or poor. To finds one life so worthless is such a sad sickness. It is the most selflessness thing to do. Something is wrong and both her parents should be beside her given her positive support and to keep it going even after she leaves the hospital.. This condition is a life long disease and she needs positive people surrounding her at all times. If not her parents willing to, then other family members and friend.

I am trouble having sympathy for her.
She lives in a $30 million home and has unlimited money to spend on whatever.
Send her to Haiti where people have to eat dirt to survive, or to Somalia.
She needs to find some purpose in life and find something to do to help others with her immense wealth.
Have her go sleep on the street in the freezing cold and beg for money to eat everyday and then let her see if her life is so horrible that she needs to commit suicide.
yeah, i have no aympathy! I'm living on SSDI due to my disability and i get less than 600.00 a month. Her socks cost more than that! lol.
