Alexa Ray Joel Recuperating At Her Dad's House

After being hospitalized for a reported suicide attempt, Alexa Ray Joel has been released from St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan and is currently resting at her father's house on Long Island.
Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley's daughter was rushed to the hospital after taking eight sleeping pills on Saturday, and it was her roommate who called 911 from their NYC apartment. A police source tells NYDN, "[Alexa's roommate] said [she] had taken pills and was feeling despondent. She said she wasn't feeling good about herself." Two law enforcement sources said the overdose was classified as a suicide attempt, though a source close to Alexa Ray said she "only consumed a homeopathic antihistamine called Traumeel."
While her mother came to visit her shortly after 4PM, Billy Joel stayed in touch with her over the phone. Billy Joel told Newsday "she is going to be fine," and a source added, "Billy didn't go so it didn't become a circus atmosphere. He was in constant phone contact."

What are you, an ASSHOLE? What kind of jerk suggests Alexaray or ANYONE uses a gun to do themself in. Do you have a brother, sister, mom or dad? Maybe you'd feel differently if one of them shot themself. I hope I never meet you, crap statements like that, even if they are a joke, are for the birds.
