The Heroes star showed off her perfect legs in sexy cut-off shorts while on an outing at Coldwater Park with her 17-month-old son, on Saturday afternoon, and there's no doubt she was the hottest mamma on the playground!

The 36-year-old mom of one is getting in as much time with her little man as possible, because she's gearing up start work on the upcoming Fox series The Asset, in which she'll play a globe-trotting human intelligence specialist!

The Varsity Blues star looked stunning in ripped jeans, a white blazer, turquoise heels and a sexy studded bag as picked up a huge box at the post office, and dropped it into the trunk of her Mercedes without any help!

After taking on butt-kicking roles in Heroes and Final Destination It's no wonder the hot mamma of one has the muscles to handle such a heavy task.

Larter is currently hard at work filming her latest TV show The Asset, in which she will play a super spy!

The former Hero's star seemed to bounce back into her post-baby 'bod shape almost overnight, but Larter admits working out has to fit in to her daily routine.

"From the morning through night, I just wear my workout clothes so that if I can grab
a half an hour here or there then I'm ready to go," she confessed at a Reebok event, adding "Being a new mom, my time is of the essence."

Larter has been busy prepping for her son Theodore's big first birthday party (today!) and the whole family is headed to Chicago to celebrate.

"We’re doing a big one on the actual day in Chicago where my husband's family is, and we’ll do a mini one with my family," the actress tells People.

Rocking her newly-cropped "mom 'do," Ali Larter looked a bit tired as she carried son Theodore to his doctor's appointment at a medical center in LA, on Friday.

The hot momma donned a white button-down shirt, dark jeans and a chunky turquoise necklace for the outing, which little Theo seemed to adore!

Larter has been busy planning Theo's big first birthday party for Dec. 20, and it's going to take place in not one, but two separate states!

“We’re doing a big one on the actual day in Chicago where my husband [Hayes MacArthur]‘s family is, and we’ll do a mini one with my family,” the actress revealed to People.

And what about the theme?

“He’s so musically inclined — he loves his music class — I think we’ll do something with lots of drums, tambourines and guitar. Something jammin’!”
