I was served once to appear at a deposition in a custody case. It is a very frightening experience because you CANNOT control what the lawyer is going to be asking you. Most lawyers are very, very good at intimidating witnesses, reading body language and twisting your words so that you get confused.

Even with preparation, it is going to be a very frightening experience for Alli. And God help her if she lies!

No one has any proof he is a dead beat dad. No one has every questioned his mental health. His behavior has never been erratic or bizzarre. By all accounts his behavior has been CONSISTENT and NORMAL.

I don't think people understand that it's not so much about one thing that a person does. It is a pattern. When you can prove a pattern of neglect/abuse/whatever over a long period of time, that is what they will base it on. At this point I don't think it's about partying while she doesn't have the kids. I think it's more about how she is when she is with the kids, and none of us really know other than what we see in the press. There may be things that they know that we don't. TMZ spotted Funk, who worked for Spears for an all-too-brief three weeks before being fired by the demanding diva July 25, out in the Big Apple on Sunday night with OK! senior reporter Shauna Bass and photo director Maria Collazo. Sources tell TMZ that K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan placed several calls to Funk's mother's home in the past few days an effort to track her down.
