Jim Carrey's Daughter Gets The Boot On American Idol
Feb 9, 2012 08:15 AM
Jane Carrey, an American Idol hopeful and the daughter of actor Jim Carrey, was eliminated from the Fox competition show Wednesday night.
Carrey, who performed Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Looking Out My Back Door," seemed very confident before hitting the stage saying, "My expectations of this week are that I'll stay here, so get used to me!"
However, after singing, the San Diego native wasn't thrilled with her own performance telling the cameras:
- "I freaked out when I was there so I was really really shaky. I know I can do way better than that so I'm really disappointed."
In case you missed it, see Jane's performance in the video below. Are you surprised she was cut?
Also on last night's show ... one of the contestants falls off the stage. AI's Executive Producer Simon Lythgoe can be seeing calling for a medic. Yikes! Click thru to see video of the scary fall.

With 122 million votes, Scott McCreery is the new American Idol, as decided by fans of the talent competition show Wednesday night.
Bono is working on securing a performance with his bandmate The Edge for the season finale episode of American Idol, according to Page Six.
