Jason's OFF!

I think hes very cute and surprisingly he looks really good with dreads which i think usually dont suit white guys. He has beautiful eyes, a cool style and a nice voice. He just wasnt that ambitious and didnt care that much about AI, hes just a regular down to earth guy whos not interested in hollywood, which is fine.

Very talented guy (some of his performances are amongst the best AI has showcased, IMHO), but certainly not AI fodder: he's not malleable and not interested enough in stardom. Having said that, I do hope he does take the singing further, because when he's good, he's exceptional!

I think some people have lost sight of the fact that American Idol....is a SINGING competition not a "cute, adorable,dreamy, gorgeous" competition, and Jason can't sing. Period. And last night you could tell, that he didn't want to be there anyway...so he deserved to go. I'm only sorry that other far more talented people got voted off before him because people were voting for him for the his looks and not his talent, (or lack thereof)

I agree. Like I said befor, he got to where he was because of his looks.He can't sing a lick.It's not far to the ugly people that can sing.OK not ugly.I'm sorry.Less attractive.

Okay...this guy was cute but he had absolutely NO talent! He should have been gone a long, long time ago! How is this dude better than Michael Johns??? It's a joke! He only got as far as he did by his looks...not his talent! Guess what people...it's a talent show!!!

"Mr. Karaoke" - all his songs sound the same. Even William Shatner does a better job at singing. Winners are made with heart & soul not looks... Glad to see him go.

I don't get it. He's ugly and his singing sucks. Those who say he got by on his looks, do you see what I see? He always has such a stupid look on his face, like he's smoked too much ganga. And he really massacred both the Bobs in his last (thank God) performance. And then there's that beak on his face....he looks like some freaky Predator-alien buzzard.

It's because he's drawn so many fans because of his style of music. That's what people love to hear these days. I always wanted the likes of jack johnson and john mayer and jason mraz. you'd always want to hear their songs no matter what you're feeling at the moment, and they always make you feel good. that's why he made it it to top 4. your question should be why didn't he win?
