I love Adam and can't wait to see what he'll bring us!!

I was pulling for Kris because he was the underdog. Adam will be a star no matter what. He was fantastic and it was refreshing to see something different. I'm sure we will be seeing a lot more of him.

You nailed it: there are a lot of Kris Allen's on the radio. Hard to tell John Mayer from Jason what's-his-name. As one poster put it, this is American Idol, not American generic pop star. I think Kris is super nice, but they got another generic singer this year. How sad. AI was on the brink of actually being an amazing show. Don't know that many Adam Lamberts will come out for the next season if they know it will always end up with a vanilla winner. It won't be worth watching without the Adams of the world. He brought true showmanship and entertainment to this year's line up. Hopefully his record deal will be cut quickly and we'll be seeing him in amazing concerts after the AI tour!

Adam is the reason why I always following american idol but when Ryan Seacrest mentioned Kris's name as a winner I turned off the tv right away cos I can't believe it. A simple voice bet the amazing voice.

The reason there are a million Kris Allens on the radio and no Adam Lamberts is because the 80's are gone. If Adam's style sold records, there would be a million of them out there. Those Kris Allens on the radio are making the money and charting.

I disagree. There is another Adam Lambert. His name is Axyl Rose who has been there done that 20 years ago. Adam does a whole lot of screeching, and that is so annoying. So glad he lost.

Adam is awesome, he's different and that's why people don't like him, he's daring and un-afraid to be different, so what if he's gay/bi, he's not your brother or friend or even someone you know so how does this affect your life? Kris won because he got Danny's voters, christians alike hey? I love Adam and his brooch goes very nicely with his suit. Adam was robbed. I will not watch AI ever again, although I'm glad it served its purpose for Adam and Kris too. They got their names out there and now the world knows who these guys are. Adam is going to be a World Wide Sensation! Kris will go softly into the night like Fantasia, Ruben Studdard, Taylor Hicks etc. but he might sell a couple of records.
