America's Next Top Model Contestant With "Smallest Waist In The World" Wins

America's Next Top Model names 6'2" Dallas native, Ann Ward, as the winner of the show's 15th season.

Tyra Banks came under fire earlier this year after saying to Ward, "You have the smallest waist in the world. Look at that waist!" Banks said that during a CW promo for ANTM in which judge Miss J Alexander stood behind the model and put his hands around her midsection.

Banks later apologized for the way the promo was edited saying,

"As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didnâ€™t see this clip before it was released to the public. But on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologize for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused."

19-year-old Ward receives a $100-thousand contract with Cover Girl cosmetics.
