Everyone better be ready to laugh!
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to co-host the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Monday. HFPA president Dr. Aida Takia-O'Reilley seems confident the comediennes and former SNL co-stars will draw in viewers.
"The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action. The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the show's 70th anniversary," Takia-O'Reilley said in a statement.
Paul Telegdy, President of NBC Entertainment's Alternative and Late Night Programming, echoed those sentiments, adding, "Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup. Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama."
Award season just got a whole lot funnier!

Another Hollywood couple bit the dust today as Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have separated after nine years of marriage.
