Amy Winehouse To Launch Clothing Collection With Fred Perry
Grammy winning singer Amy Winehouse is launching a clothing collection with British label Fred Perry, reports WWD.
Fred Perry marketing director Richard Martin released the following statement regarding the collaboration:
- “Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand. Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points. She is a loyal fan of classic Fred Perry product, so that is what the designs were focused on developing."
According to WWD, the 17 piece collection is mostly pink and black and includes a twinset, pencil skirts, capri pants, a mini bowling dress, and Fred Perry’s signature polo shirts. The line runs from $32 to $150, and it will be sold in Fred Perry boutiques as well as through select wholesalers worldwide.
