The Back to Black singer reveals she was really "excited" to sing the "beautifully written" song, "Body and Soul", with her longtime friend, and said they "blended together perfectly" while in the studio.

The clip also gives a sneak peek at the pair working together on the track, which will be released as a single on iTunes Sept. 14.

Tony Bennett's full "Duets II" album, featuring his cover with Winehouse, will be released Sept. 20.

The VMA's included a special tribute to the late Amy Winehouse tonight, with the singer's friends, Russell Brand, Tony Bennett and Bruno Mars all paying tribute to the talented and troubled star.

Mars was chosen to pay musical homage to Winehouse, and put his own spin on her hit single Valerie, while encouraging the crowd to clap along and join him in showing appreciation for the late singer.

Brand knew Winehouse before she was famous, and recalled the first time he heard her sing, expressing:

“She was kind of like a daft, dopey person, just kinda wandering around. Kinda crazy. The first time I heard her sing, I didn’t even know it was her."

The Arthur star then introduced Tony Bennett, who unveiled a never-before-seen video from his March 2011 recording session at the Abbey Road Studios in London with the late singer.

Bennett said of the Rehab singer: “I recorded with Amy Winehouse and she was so unbelievable, because of all the artists I met in the last 20 years, she was a true jazz artist”. The pair recorded the single Body and Soul early this year, which ended up being Winehouse’s last studio recording.

Rumors have been swirling about the upcoming tribute to the late Amy Winehouse during this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, and now her father, Mitch Winehouse, has just confirmed the news.

Lady GaGa, Tony Bennett, and Adele will all take part in a special performance of Body and Soul, which was Winehouse's last recording.

Amy's father announced on Friday:

“Our family is honoured that the VMAs are giving Amy this wonderful tribute. We know that Amy’s performance of Rehab at the MTV Movie Awards played an important part in Amy’s worldwide success.”

The Body and Soul track will also be featured as the first single from Bennett's upcoming album, Duets: An American Classic, which is set to be released Sept. 14th. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Amy Winehouse did not die of an illegal drug overdose, according to the toxicology reports.

The family issued a statement that "toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy’s system at the time of her death.”

Although illegal drugs were not detected, the family says the toxicology reports showed "alcohol was present" in her system at the time of her death. No word on whether prescription drugs were named in the toxicology report.

Winehouse, 27, was found dead on July 23 inside her London home.

The family plans to create a foundation in Amy's honor for those struggling with addiction.

As if her death hasn't been jarring enough, now comes word that Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil wants to write a tell-all book about the singer's life.

A source told The Sun:

"Blake's been planning to write a tell-all on Amy since she became famous. When they were together he'd film her, but there are many hours of footage and photos he hasn't released."

The paper claims that money will be the big factor in Blake writing the book, especially since he's contemplated doing so for a while.

Amy was married to Blake from 2007 until their divorce in 2009. The two had a rocky relationship before and during the marriage. Both battled drug and alcohol addictions, and Blake admitted that he was the one who introduced Amy to heroin and crack cocaine.

Blake is currently in jail for armed robbery and a firearm offense. Amy was found dead on July 23 at her North London home, but the official cause of death has not been determined yet.

A Swedish poster featuring an unflattering photo of Amy Winehouse is stirring up outcry from her fans.

The online poster, from youth political party SVP, reads, "No - to the decriminalization of drugs."

Winehouse died July 23 at age 27 ... but her cause of death has not yet been determined. Said party president Gregory Logean:

"We are displaying a photo that the whole world already knows. Winehouse was known not only for her songs, but above all for her drug excesses."

After the tragic and sudden loss of their talented and troubled daughter, Amy Winehouse, the late singer's parents are planning to turn her $4 million North London home into the headquarters for the Amy Winehouse Foundation charity.

The ten-room mansion will potentially be used for rehab projects and is expected to include "causes close to the singer's heart," the singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, told the Sun.

"It could include help for children in trouble, kids suffering health problems, children's hospices and more. We want to make a positive difference," Winehouse adds.

The Rehab singer was found dead at her London home on July 23, after a very long and public struggle with substance abuse.

Amy's cause of death is still unknown, and toxicology report results aren't expected for several weeks, but Winehouse's family confessed recently they believe Winehouse died of alcohol withdrawal.

Amy Winehouse was planning to adopt a 10-year-old girl in St. Lucia before her tragic death, according to The Daily Mirror.

Winehouse, 27, had met Dannika Augustine while vacationing in St. Lucia back in 2009. The young girl tells the Mirror:

"Amy was already my mother. I would call her Mum. And she would call me her daughter. She took care of me, and we had fun together. I loved her, and she loved me."

The Rehab singer died on July 23.

Amy Winehouse's rep denied the story with the following statement:

"It's not true. I think [Amy] might have met her in St. Lucia, but she was in no way about to adopt her."
