Winehouse To Adopt A St. Lucian Child!?

Apparently, Amy Winehouse is desperate to become a mother, and plans on adopting a child from the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, her home away from home for most of this year. Holy Angelina Jolie!
In the understatement of the year, Amy's pal tells the Daily Mail, "Amy is seriously thinking about adopting. But she is aware it’s going to be incredibly difficult with her background."
But it's not just her past that could be the problem, but her present, too!
1) Photogs caught her smoking a mysterious ciggy just yesterday. And 2) Although sources tell us she's off the hardcore drugs, she's into self-mutilation. The locals tell us she's burning herself with cigarettes!
What's even scarier is that her rep confirms her plans: "Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and education-based project."
Seems like Amy is the one who needs adopting!
Not like the good people of St. Lucia would ever allow her to do it anyway!

Jolie is the same as Amy and she was allowed to adopt, so I guess if you have money you can do anything.
She feels lonely and adopting a child in her case means she will have somebody connected to her and living with her for a very long time. She needs help. It's very disturbing to see Winehouse on pictures. It's like a self-autodestruction machine walking. Mentally, she doesn't look okay at all and it shows on her face, body and overall look.

It might also fill that piece of whatever is missing in her that drives her to self destructive behaviors. It's not for no reason y'all. Cut her a break. She doesn't need you guys continually giving her flack yet giving someone like Brit the hand slap when she's fell into her own pit of self destruction. You continue to love her but crap all over Amy who has a thousand times the amount of talent Brit ever could. I LOVE Amy.

Drug addicts or single persons should not be allowed to adopt children. Money is not the question, lifestyle is. Are you insane, Amy adopt a child; forget it. She burns herself and thinks it's a joke, I fail to see the humour, but the sickness I see. Are adopting agencies blind? I sure hope not. Amy is talented, she is also very immature, but her biggest flaw is her addictions.

I agree, Britney and Amy should not be compared. Britney is a proud mother of 2 beautiful children and seems to be on the path of recovery. Amy is insane in the membraine and needs to start eating monkey food, because that's the way she's acting. Adopt a child, are you nuts? There are children in this world that act alot more grown up than she does.
