Brad took to the sinking city for the Venice Film Festival where he's premiering Burn After Reading tomorrow.

He's set to attend the Not On Our Watch fundraiser tonight, along with George Clooney, to help raise money and awareness for AIDS victims in Darfur and for victims of the cyclone in Myanmar.

Brad brought along a newly-blue Mohawk-coiffed Maddox and a shaggy-haired Pax (those pix coming soon!). It is the new dad's first time away from home since the birth of his and Angelina Jolie's twins, Knox and Vivienne on July 12.

Fashion Week Daily is reporting that Brad Pitt photographed babymama Angelina Jolie and the kids at Chateau Miraval last week for the November cover of W magazine.

This is Brad's first time shooting a magazine cover, and it marks the second time the magazine has gotten a big exclusive with the Hollywood super couple. Back in 2005, Brad and Angie appeared in the feature "Domestic Bliss" for the July 2005 issue, which showed the two in a very intimate series of portraits, providing confirmation that they were in fact lovers.

Angelina Jolie is set to replace Tom Cruise as the lead in the upcoming espionage thriller, Edwin A. Salt according to Variety.

The flick will be rewritten for Angie, who is set to play a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy, who must dodge her fellow agents until she can prove her innocence. After doing films like Wanted, Tomb Raider, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith, this seems like the perfect role for my favorite female action star!

Obviously, the film will undergo a title change, and some technical adjustments, but it looks like neither Angie nor the studio will have to work too hard to make this movie kick some serious box office ass!

Angelina Jolie might be casting an absentee ballot in the Presidential election this November - but she's not saying whose name's gonna be on it!

In a statement given to Variety over the weekend, the Oscar winner reveals that she hasn't decided whether to give her endorsement to Barack Obama, John McCain, or a third-party candidate in the upcoming Presidential election.

""I have not decided on a candidate," her statement says. "I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world."

Of course, it's probably wise for Angie to exercise discretion when it comes to her endorsement - after all, she's speaking as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations!

Most people are presuming that Jolie will endorse Obama, given the groundswell of support the candidate has received from other celebrities as well as the actress' history of social activism. Of course, a tip of the cap to McCain isn't completely out of the question either - after all, Angie's got plenty of Republican friends trying to bend her ear to his side! (Plus, she's rich!)

Either way, we'll be waiting to see who she ends up choosing - which way do you think she'll go?

Our photogs spotted Angelina Jolie's father Jon Voight out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. Sad as it is to say, Jon still hasn't been able to make it to France for his first visit his two newest grandchildren yet - even though Vivienne shares her name with Jon's second wife!

We sure hope Angie and Jon are able to bury the hatchet some day - after all, it would be terrible if Jon only ever got to see the twins on magazine covers!

After months of waiting, the first pix of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins have arrived!

The couple appeared on the covers of Hello (abroad) and People (in America) posing with their new twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, born July 12th in Nice, France.

Unsurprisingly, the whole family looks gorgeous on the cover - but then again, mags don't shell out fourteen million bucks for just anyone!

That's how much the first pix of Brangelina's twins sold for!

The Daily Mail reports that, after a protracted battle between rival magazines, People's bid of $14 million won the mag the rights to publish the first pix of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's new twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The humanitarian couple will no doubt be donating the loot to charity.

As you might imagine, People is thrilled by their victory - in fact, they're even bumping up the publication date to August 4th to get those pix out as quickly as possible!

Wow, now we can't wait for next week - after all, we've been waiting to see how gorgeous those kids are since forever!

French police have confirmed that two camouflaged paparazzi managed to sneak onto Brad and Angie’s property in southern France yesterday. After being discovered by the couple's security guards, a fight broke out, and now both parties have filed legal complaints accusing the other of battery and causing injury, according to the Associated Press.

Freelance photographer Luc Goursolas claims he was hit with a walkie-talkie, punched, kicked, and left with a head wound that required three stitches. Goursolas told AP today, "I was pouring blood. I threw myself at them, put blood all over them, and told them that I had HIV so they would stop hitting me." Goursolas said he wasn’t on the property, but in forest near the estate when the guards found him and his partner in crime, camerawoman Marianne Saint-Arroman. Goursolas also claims that Brad talked to him after the altercation and said, "What you are doing is bad, I am fed up with my private property being violated. If you want war you will get it."

Tony Webb, who is head of security at Chateau Miraval, had a slightly different story. Webb said the photographers were on the property, about 600 yards from the house, and denied that the guards punched Goursolas. Webb said Goursolas had camouflaged his equipment and appeared to be “there for a good stay.” He added that Brad and Angie may be forced to move if their privacy is not respected, and that local police aren't taking the problem seriously.

Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Angelina - she's hot, badass, and I've always been on Team Jolie (sorry Jen). However, after seeing Wanted, all I wanted was to feed Angie a box of Kripsy Kremes, because she was way too thin - I was amazed that she could hold up all the heavy guns without snapping her frail arms in half.

Anyway, she's currently hanging out in France with her newborn twins and family, but if we know her, the baby weight will likely be gone in sixty seconds. However, there are some people who want her to keep that weight - specifically, the producers on her next film!

Angie is one of the frontrunners to play the female lead in The Thomas Crown Affair 2, and a source for The Daily Mirror reveals that the producers want her bulk up for the job - they don't want a repeat of the incidents that occurred on the set of Wanted, where she reportedly fainted and had to have her costumes taken in. Angie was also criticized for being too thin to portray an action woman, and the source adds, "Ideally they want Angelina to put on two stone [28 pounds] for the role. It is going to be very physically demanding, which is why they want her to carry the extra weight."

I wish someone told me to gain 20something pounds for my next paycheck!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt went with costly in vitro fertilization to conceive twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, according to Us Weekly. A source told the magazine, "They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon." The source added that the couple chose in vitro so Angie "wouldn't have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant."

Though we called this weeks ago, we gotta ask - was it really to avoid the "stress" of getting pregnant, or was it because these two were having trouble getting pregnant in the first place? Though Brad is smoking hot, he is 44, which is getting up there - perhaps he was having some technical difficulties? Additionally, the chance of someone having fraternal twins at Angelina's age (33) without fertility treatments is under 1 percent, but with in vitro, the chances shoot up to 25 percent.

After checking out of the hospital in Nice this Saturday - where Angelina and her babies took a van to the airport at 4 in the morning - the Brangelina fam has since been resting back home at Miraval!

Brad, Angie and their kids (including the twins) are staying inside the house with their helicopter - seen in the second pic above - standing by. We can't wait to see Knox and Vivienne when they finally come out!

Brad and Angelina had a party on Friday night, with security, hospital staff, and a few friends and at that time, Angie decided she was ready to return home to Miraval, despite a scheduled visit from her doc the next morning.

The crew packed up and left, early Saturday morning, requested a helicopter on the roof -- were denied -- so guess what crazy undercover way they left the French hospital after weeks of every media outlet in the world trying to get a shot of her and the babies??? ...

ANGELINA WALKED TO A VAN, OUT THE BACK DOOR OF THE HOSPITAL, TO A WAITING VAN AND THEN A NURSE CARRIED THE BABIES TO THE VEHICLE AT 4 AM -- WITH NO PHOTOGRAPHERS IN SIGHT!!!!!

The headed to Nice airport and, as it was too early, the small strip was closed! Angie and her crew had to wait for an hour before their helicopter was ready to take off, they jumped in, and headed to Miraval (15 minutes by copter, from Nice).

Angelina Jolie has left the building! A rep for the hospital confirmed that Angie and her newborn twins left the hospital early Saturday morning, a week after she gave birth.

Hospital rep Nadine Bauer issued the following statement:

"Angelina Jolie left the Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19th. The mother and babies are doing very well. The general management of Lenval and Santa Maria want to thank the team for the attention and care they pay to the family, and those of the journalists around the hospital who did their best to respect their privacy."

This time a security scare came from inside the hospital rather than outside!

Sources reveal exclusively to X17online that a nurse at Lenval Hospital found a child's stuffed toy on the floor just outside Angie's room and picked it up to return to the Jolie-Pitt chambers.

But before she could, a security guard at the door jumped on the woman, pulled her arm into a hold behind her back, grabbed the toy, and slit it open with a knife to make sure there wasn't anything inside!!!

We know these kids are like the second coming, but really, was all that necessary?

Angelina Jolie's stay at the Lenval hospital may have drawn the ire of some locals - but they're not leaving until they're good and ready!

Angie Stays Put
During a press conference earlier today Nadine Bauer, a spokeswoman for the hospital, confirmed that not only will Angelina not be leaving the hospital later today, she wouldn't be checking out until her doctor gave his final approval!!

"After a C-section, the normal stay for a mother in the Lenval hospital is between eight and 10 days," Bauer said. "Only when Dr. Sussmann is completely satisfied that she is in good health and fully recovered from the C-section."

Too Tempted To Play?
Others within Lenval suspect that Sussman's decision to extend Jolie's stay is motivated by other factors - like the impulsive actress' longing to play with all of her children.

"Angelina has four young and lively children at home, and he suspects the temptation to get up out of bed and play with them will overwhelm her," a source told E! News. "He knows how much she misses the other children, but he feels that she will benefit from a few extra days' rest. They're being very well cared for."

Of course they are - Brad's a great dad, and we're sure he's holding down the fort just fine!

I'm sure we've all been waiting for a comment from Aniston's camp on Brangelina's twins, and here it (finally) is!

A pal of the Friends star tells Us Weekly that Jennifer "hopes the twins are beautiful. She'd never want anyone to be unhappy with their kids."

Uh, kind of a weird statement, right? Sounds almost sarcastic to us! Not that Jen necessarily said that - we won't believe anything until we hear it straight from her own mouth!

We told you earlier about the protest at Lenval Hospital where dozens of Nice residents demanded to know why the Mayor was giving media attention to Angelina and Brad's twin babies, but not to a murdered local youth.

Well, nothing was really resolved, so now we're wondering what's going to happen tomorrow. Will the protesters return? Will they need to hire more police and security? Or perhaps Brad and Angelina will make a statement? Either way, they're beginning to get media attention, so hopefully something will be done to end the protest.
