Angelina Jolie and fiance Brad Pitt are ready to call West London home ... at least for a while.

The power couple have just purchased a $16 million mansion in Richmond, according to the Sun. The estate boasts an enormous yard and indoor swimming pool ... perfect for their six kids!

A source tells the site:

"They like the culture and are happy for their children to receive schooling here. They think Richmond is a beautiful part of the world. Brad and Angelina hold an affection for the U.K. so this investment makes sense."

Before reportedly purchasing this palatial pad, Brad and Angie were renting a home in Whornes Place for $50K per month while Pitt was filming World War Z.

Neighbors will include Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

The newly engaged Oscar Winner -- who wasn't wearing he custom $500,000 e-ring at the meeting -- enjoyed a trip to the Galapagos Islands with Brad Pitt and their six kids, before touring the countryside to meet with misplaced Colombian refugees, and having a sit-down meeting with Ecuadorian minister, Ricardo Patino.

Jolie was also promoted to the title of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Special Envoy during the trip -- she really can do it all!

After going on a humanitarian trip to visit Colombian refugees in Ecuador yesterday, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are back in the Galapagos Islands and once again enjoying some family time during their vacation in South America.

Jolie, who was just appointed as a special envoy for the UNHCR, went to Quito to meet with Ecuador's foreign minister, Ricardo Patino, to promote the "Thanks Ecuador" campaign in recognition of the country's assistance with Colombian refugees.

The newly-engaged couple left their six children with their nannies and bodyguards in the Galapagos on Sunday, so now it seems like their focus will be family fun and exploring the islands!

Just because she's celebrating an engagement doesn't mean she shirks on her charitable duties!

Angelina Jolie, who has been vacationing in the Galapagos Islands with her six children and fiance Brad Pitt, headed to Ecuador this weekend to visit with Colombian people who have been forced to take refuge in the country.

The 36-year-old actress was appointed U.N High Commissioner for Refugees Special Envoy earlier this month, although she has been a U.N goodwill ambassador since 2001 and has completed around 40 humanitarian trips over the last 10 years.

The Oscar winner met up with Ecuador's Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino, for a meeting in Quito to promote the 'Thanks Ecuador' campaign. Ever conscious of overshadowing her causes, the future Mrs. Pitt wore a simple black ensemble with no makeup. Stars - they're just like us... or not.

"She is expected to focus on large-scale crises resulting in the mass displacement of people, to undertake advocacy and represent UNHCR and Mr. Gueterres at the diplomatic level, engaging with relevant interlocutors on global displacement issues," UNHCR spokesman Adrian Edwards said in a statement last week.

When will she have time to plan the wedding of the century?!

The Brangelina clan toured the Galapagos Islands on a private, chartered boat for two days before returning to the main island of Santa Cruz.

The whole family went along for the adventure -- Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. The Ecuadorian islands are famous for their biodiversity and rich ecosystems -- there's wildlife there that can't be found anywhere else on the planet. The Galapagos tortoise is the most famous -- and is the islands' namesake -- there is a huge population of sea lions, iguanas and even penguins.

You can bet the Jolie-Pitts saw it all -- and added another stamp to their already-full passports before jetting off on Saturday.

We spotted Angelina wearing her ring -- as is visible in our photos of her and Brad on the way to their airport to catch their private jet -- a Gulfstream V.

Newly-engaged Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie touched down in Guayaquil, Ecuador Tuesday with the family in tow, to visit the Galapagos Islands, X17online can report exclusively.

The mayor of the town of Santa Cruz, Leopoldo Buchelli, confirmed the star couple's arrival but would not release any details of the family's scheduled trip.

Pitt and Angelina, who announced their engagement last week, touched down at 8:30am yesterday at the Baltra airport, in a private jet. They had a tour guide with them to handle their travel arrangements.

The family was spotted on a local tour bus, en route to a ferry headed to the islands famous for being the location of scientist Charles Darwin's most important studies on evolution. The national park is protected by the UN as a World Heritage site. Jolie, recently name a special envoy to the United Nations Human Rights Commission for Refugees, made a visit to Ecuador in 2010 as an ambassador for the UNHCR.

Angelina Jolie is one of the most photographed women in the world, so it makes sense that she's usually trying to hide from photographers, but when we caught her leaving a business meeting Monday at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, she gave us a wave and flashed a huge smile... and her new bling!

The 36-year-old actress made her first appearance since it was announced that her longtime partner Brad Pitt had popped the question, and love certainly suits her!
