Angelina Jolie: "I Don't Love Acting As Much As I Did"

She's been saying this crap for 7 YEARS now. Over and over and over again. Just retire already.

A. One of the signs of maturity is being able to sit still for awhile. She sounds like she's bipolar or has ADHD.

B.) What kind of ninny thinks that a fictional movie role can help you solve life's problems or find serious answers to life's dilemmas? What a nutcase.

easy: JUST QUIT.

The fact that she can never stay in one place for more than a few months says volumes about her, not what's best for the kids.. So obviously she thinks this is the best way to raise kids. Whatever suits her, not them.

Children need stability. You can always travel with them during summer vacations. That way they can live a somewhat normal life AND explore the world when school's out. As they get older this nomad life of hers should actually slow down, not increase. The kids need to be able to make some friends somewhere along the way.

But again, it's about HER and what she wants for herself. How convenient that she thinks moving around constantly is what's best for the kids.
If she was a nester, she'd say that's the best way to raise kids.

As far as her career, she's always groaned about how it's just a job and not all that important to her. She's ungrateful. Somehow it never occurs to her that this chore of a job is what affords her the ridiculous lifestyle.

I don't think anyone thought she would act full time into old age. Even now, she could be making more movies and therefore more money, but she's obtain a balance in her life. Some people don't have that balance nor other things besides their careers to interest them. I don't know how she finds the time now with all the other things she does. Acting is a job like any other and most actors have active lives beyond playing in the movies. . I'm sure she and Pitt wants to be able to provide for their family AND their humanitarian causes. That means money, lots of money for the long haul. I do appreciate the fact that both of them could be making more movies than they do( and more money), but they realize that other things are more important in the present.

@jaye Are you kidding? They don't need to keep working so they can support their humanitarian causes. They probably have close to $400 million in the bank.

They keep working because they love the fame. And btw, she's been singing this stupid song for years now. She was supposed to retire in 2007 according to her. Seriously, in a 2005 interview she said she only wanted to do movies for another couple of years. And here we are 7 years later and shes still telling the same stupid story.

She has absolutely no plans on retiring and she's definitely not doing stupid movies like "The Tourist" because she cares about the orphans.

But how do the kids make (or learn about, for that matter) solid friendships? Yes, they have eachother...but I don't think that's enough. I do think it's quite a cool way she's raising them, but I just want to know how they're going to learn about those things.

I don't care what she has or who she bangs, we all know she feeds hundreds of thousands of starving children. Many have no water, can you imagine the torture the children live in? And while The Roachdashians, and Blohans, and Stinky crotch Hilton are so stingy and self-serving, like most celebs, here is Angelina trying to raise a bunch of her own kids while saving lives of so many others children.

God, we need more Angelina's, if you are a millionaire and do not feed or help/render aid to children, you are pure EVIL. Read about Greed in the Bible.

It's always all about her. Nothing she likes better than having a deep,(sometimes dark)conversation about HER. She "loves being a mom"? Then why doesn't she stay home and be one? Or does she love being a mom when the times right, for her? I don't quite understand what she's saying. As highly intelligent as she is, I've always thought she is so stupid. I think a normal person could get bored with her company real quick, which might be the reason she has no real female friends.Of coarse, we all know how she plays men.(rolling eyes) I can't understand how people can fall for the crap she dishes out. It's not over yet folks. Stayed tuned for her next episode. LOL

Stop giving her & Pitt all the credit for feeding those hungry little kids. They're not the only ones donating. They're simply the only ones that can't do it without broadcasting it to the world. There are people in those countries right now who not only donate, but actually spend long periods of time working with the people, and getting to know them personally. I'm not a big Madonna fan, but doesn't she put a lot of time in without announcing she gives? She brings attention to the causes,by working with them, along with Affleck, Damon, Clooney, and many more, without disclosing the amount they give.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah....

Just let me know when she actually DOES leave acting. She is all talk, no action. Has anyone ever seen her DO anything besides photo ops with starving children???

Sounds like she's not getting offers for movie parts anymore. She's getting older and that's what happens to most women actors who peak young when they're young.

I never had a lot of love for her. Then I traveled to Cambodia and the taxi driver taking me to the hotel from the airport (we were driving through some of the poorest streets I've seen in my life) mentioned that the only reason that area had drinkable water is because Angelina Jolie paid for wells, pipes, etc. She did it. Not the city or a local person. So I have a lot more respect for her since then.

If she would quit, then we would not have to listen to her saying this all the time.

Angie has no balance, the role she gets are crap, if any roles. She love being a mom , LOL nannies raise her kids

She doesn't address cambodia and they sex slave problem, she never critisizes the country where are kids are from.

8:08, That's a very good example of how she operates. I'd be willing to bet, others had a big part in it too, yet she's the only one getting credit for it.

8:08, Check out "Drinking water for Cambodia", and then tell us how much credit Jolie deserves with her money, compared to others. Sounds to me like a lot of others had a big part in it too, without taking credit for it.

Maybe she can focus on eating now... This woman is wasting away. Perhaps she should focus on staying in one place for her children. There is no sense of normalcy. Yes, it is fun to travel and explore but her children should grow up first. It's like an endless turnstile of hotels and nannies. She should retire but that is impossible with her and her boyfriend requiring 100% attention of the spotlight. Just saying..
