Angelina Jolie Called "Ignorant" Over Her Directorial Debut, Addresses The "One Person Who Has A Gripe"

Angelina Jolie is standing up against the "one person who has a gripe" with her directorial debut, United Love Story ... the story of a love affair between a Serbian man and a Bosnian Muslim woman on the eve of the 1992-95 war.
The actress has been accused by a war victims' group of having an "ignorant attitude towards victims," and as a result, they are asking for her ambassador title to be taken away.
35-year-old Jolie, who says that 95 percent of the cast lived through the war, tells the Associated Press:
- "The absolute majority of the people, population, the cast, prime minister, president have been extremely supportive."
Critics have also blasted the film for being a story about a Bosnian woman who falls in love with a Serbian man who rapes her. Jolie, who asks war victims to hold their judgment until after seeing the film, adds:
- "There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature of the relationship between the main characters."
United Love Story is expected to hit theaters next summer.
Are you looking forward to seeing this film ... or will you avoid it knowing the controversy?
