how much did that trip cost? How long did she stay there?

Is it possible for her to ever go on any of these trips without talking to reporters? These trips and the stories about these trips always end up being about her and not the people she claims to care about. How about letting the Somalies talk to the reporters instead of Anglelina? How about asking the cameramen to take the camera off Angelina and train it on the people who actually need the publicity? And don´t tell me she doesn´t have the power to do anything like that. If she has the power to control Ann Curry and Anderson Cooper and People magazine she has the power to control some freelance stringer photog from the AP. Angie is only willing to share the spotlight. She is never willing to give it up. Not even for a second.

Why go on these important trips if not to bring awareness to others? That's pretty dumb, go but don't tell others of the importance. If you went nobody would take notice, but put a celebrity there and people pay attention. Like her or not but she does bring attention to those places others could care less about.

I know put chunky butt Struthers back there and people only laughed at her. I couldn't take her seriously at all, geeze give up some meals girl. Angelina doesn't over eat and is healthy.

85 percent of Americans are overweight they don't relate to these people. While they sit and gorge themselves I bet they'd fight for the last snicker bar instead of giving it to someone starving. Really disgusting! Put John Goodman, KFed or Roseann Barr there and people would not take them seriously at all.

Like no one knows what's going on in these areas. Does she bring food, water, or medicine when she visits? Doctors? Teachers? She goes there, has her picture taken, and then leaves. It makes the internet blogs and then nothing else is heard about it. Seriously, how does this help those people?

Can't you accept that she knows that the cameras will follow her and that is the only way a light will shine on these forgotten unlivable areas. let her do what she believes is her calling. I volunteer for the homeless and find it difficult to eat when I remember how those folks were starving. Yet Jolie probably gets on her private plane and eats a gourmet meal with no problem after her photo ops. Shining a light won't feed those people cause she's been doing this for a while and obviously nothing has changed. Instead of buying fancy chalets in Paris, drop a million on some schools, seeds, a medical facility, some food to get them through. To hell with a damn light.

What has she accomplished with all these years of "raising awareness" other than improving her own quality of life with all its gross excess.

What exactly has she donated over the years and now? She could just show proof of donations claimed, and show tangible improvements in the lives of these people from her little pr jaunts. She could make herself more legitimate by showing these things.

Why does she think her presence will do anything? People are disgusted by her. Awareness is up. Now what is she gonna do? She keeps doing the same superficial appearances and seems to have no effect. Obviously deeper involvement is needed but that involves genuine commitment.

How can she look these starving children in their sad eyes while she probably hops back on her private (not green or "sustainable") jet and back to the castle where her collectible kid props can engorge themselves.

These posts on her always generate a lot of comments, but it's good to "raise awareness" of her hypocrisy.

Never never compare this ugly soul to Audrey Hepburn unless you are pointing out the difference between a greedy poser and a genuine humanitarian.

Funny how people think it's great when George Clooney, Matt Damon, etc fly in/out of Africa in a private jet and return to their expensive villas and mansions. The hypocracy is saying that Angelina isn't doing anything and shouldn't do these trips but praise others who do the same thing. Angelina donates a lot but everytime she does people whine why is it announced and why doesn't she give away all of her money and live in proverty.

Thank you for focusing all the issue which is what Angie tries to do. Not the stupid skinny headline, which by the way are not true. She looks like Angie and she looks great. She is only tring to do good. The poor jenhens are so upset about their idols movie flopping that they are taking out all of their rath on Angie when she only tries to be a good person.

But if Angelina goes and bring attention to these areas of the world the nasties try to say she is a hyprocrite. As a woman who is also interest in the phlight of the refugees, I salute Angelina Jolie. Critics go and read her articles on the UNHCR website. People like you guys who have all the nasty comments go and do some community work.

Does she ever go to these refuge camps without the cameras' rolling? Seriously, everything she does is carefully calculated with her PR crap.

We do know what's going on out there but not everyone has the money, fame and power to go those poor countries. No one has photographers to bring with to prove I'm out there. Not a lot of people can afford a lot of security people so I can be safe in those areas. A lot of other people who did and managed to do this ----- we never knew them because they don't need this publicity or fame.

When will Africans wake up and realize they are their own worst enemy? Why is the U.S and the E.U enabling African dictators by giving them millions in the name of humanitarian aid? Africans need genuine leaders and real democracy not small handouts given by celebrities like Angelina.

Well, if Angie is sourrended by reporters and public attention worldwide while she is visitig these camps this s a good thing. Angelina Jolie doesn't need publicity: she is famous enough without it anyway. But the attention is focused this way to the refugee camps through her: te reaity of it. h is the only Hollywood star taking this roleseriously, the others are doing charity work only once in many years and that...well that is a durty show serving oly their publicity!Angie really is dedicating to this work.

I admire Angelina and Brad for all of their humanitarian work to help others in need. We should all be so caring.

the somali and whole other refugee camps are there because their country are under violence. the refugee camps are not in a good quality and this picture is not the best picture for worse. i belive and i know there are people who cant talk or either cant stand because of hunger in this places. specialy somali refugee camps are worse and its not only because of hunger they are deseased have sickness. its all about the country. if i had money to solve the proplems i would change the country and make these people homes and new lifes. i hope God helps these hopeless poor people. i hope to see people who care for these people like Angelina
