Angie Confirms She's Cruising into Tom's Role in Spy Thriller

The mom of six is ready to go back to work -- and she's taking up the gun again for a role that was originally intended for Tom Cruise in the new film, Edwin A. Salt.
She'll be playing the role of a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy, who must dodge her fellow agents until she can prove her innocence.
Angelina confirmed the role during an interview with BBC Radio's Simon Mayo today, telling him for her next project, she'll be "working on a film called 'Salt'. And it's with Phillip Noyce."
We can't wait to see Angie return to some ass-kicking on the big screen!
Though working while caring for all those kids is gonna be tough!

X17 is really slow. Angelina confirmed this role months ago. There are some stupid people on this site. She never said she quit doing movies. She said she would be working less in the future. In several interviews she said she has a film in February, which is Salt, and will take a year off after filming. After adopting Pax she said she would take a year off after wrapping Changeling. Which she has done except for a few days here and there to promote films. Tom Cruise isn't in this movie so there will not be an affair. Angelina is taking over the role that was intended for Tom.
