Angelina Jolie: "I Always Felt Not Traditionally Beautiful"

There's no denying that Angelina Jolie is absolutely gorgeous, but during an in depth interview with 60 Minutes, the star admitted she doesn't think of herself as a "traditional beauty," and confessed that her late mom will always be "better" than she is.

The Oscar winner revealed:

“I always felt not traditionally beautiful. I have big features…as I get older I look like my mom. And I love my mom. You start to kinda put your lineage in line of the different things you are. I see the Native American in me I can see the German from my father’s side and you come to love the combination.”

Jolie added, “As long as Brad thinks I’m beautiful…I wake up and I want to be a smarter person. But I feel like that’s certainly what I’m encouraging my girls to do.”

The Salt star also confessed on following in her late mother's footsteps:

My mother was a full-time mother. She didn’t have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences … everything was for her children, I will never be as good a mother as she was. She was just grace incarnate. She was the most generous, loving – she’s better than me. I will never be as good a mother as she was. I will try my best, but I don't think I could ever be."

We think partner Brad Pitt -- and their six kids!-- would disagree!
