Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Sue News Of The World Over Split Story

After stepping out at the DGA Awards last weekend and the Super Bowl yesterday, we began to get the hint that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still together and happier than ever. Well, in case we needed any further clarification, the couple is now suing News Of The World for libel after they ran (and refused to retract) a story that the two had split.
On January 23 NOTW reported that the couple would separate, divide their assets and share custody of their six children. However, the couple's attorney Keith Schilling calls the allegations "false and intrusive," and added that the paper has failed to meet "reasonable demands" for an apology. Schilling says the British tabloid would not give in to requests to retract the story, which was "widely republished by mainstream news outlets."
Schilling added that Sorrell Trope, the attorney who allegedly advised the couple on their split deal hasn't even met with them, and in a letter quoted in the statement, Trope wrote, "I have had no contact from... Angelina Jolie and / or Brad Pitt. I have never met... your clients or had any involvement with either of them. The foregoing is true with respect to all other members of this firm."
While the lawsuit certainly sends the public a very clear message, what about Brangelina's behavior at the Super Bowl last night? I mean, they weren't exactly being subtle about the PDA, so it's almost like they're trying waaaaay too hard to convince us that they're fine. Any chance that they were overdoing the acting? Or is this the real deal? After all, these two seem to be masters at manipulating the media!

X17 has seriously become such a joke.. you guys dig for stories where ever possible, and besides the paparazzi photos- most of everything posted here, isn't worth even looking at, let alone taking seriously. The source from the original story it self has basically come forward claiming they had no contact or merit to make the claims they made. Yes, I'm sure Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have nothing better to do than put on a show for X17 and the rest of the world to prove they are still together, the sources in the story coming forward and the law suit being pressed against the original publisher isn't enough. If there was trouble in paradise, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be attending the Super Bowl as a happy family just to defer the public speculation. You guys are a joke and anyone who believes a damn thing you "suggest" is going on in the media is an even bigger laugh.

Intrusive means "Intruding or intending to intrude" therefore something can be false and intrusive.. ie. they intended on being intrusive.. duh..

conveniently, most sites are leaving out some key words their lawyer said in his statement: That the main reason they're suing is due to "misuse of private information" and that "we can unequivocally, under instruction, say they aren't splitting". To me, that barks of burnt egos and anger that their secret got out and spread like wildfire! P.S.--the lawyer who denied meeting them was never claimed as the lawyer in NOTW. Somebody else speculated that it could be him, but the original story never claims it. Funny they'd use a statement from a guy who wasn't even in the publication they're trying to sue...
