i can gurantee you they love shiloh ten timesmore than they love their adopted children and they feel guilty for that which is why they try to make up for it with helicopter rides and such. shiloh is around somewhere, they probably fear for her safety and are extra protective of her as they will be of the next biological children on the way. when you give life to your own beautiful flesh and blood there is nothing that compares. it is true jen has money, friends, time alone but being surrounded by children and being in love is so much more fullfuling.
