I think that they are the epitome of what wealthy, successful people should be!!!! They are raising a family and making HUGE humanitarian efforts for people that are less fortunate and trying to make a difference, but for some reason they just cant win with u people!!! If they werent working for a cause, u would condemn them for that, and that fact that they are gets the same response? Doenst seem fair to me. Also, why is it a crime to enjoy the fruits of your labor??? I sense a bit of jealousy in a few of these comments!!! GET OVER IT!!! These children were in tough positions before they came along and exposed them to a pretty damn good life, and u jealous whores say that they will just take the $$$ and find their REAL families???? I am very happy for them! Angelina may have a wild side but she's the queen of wild hearts! :) To love children like she does, she's got a big heart. Brad is a good man to support her and I believe he is happy with her and the children. They make a great couple and I believe the best for them. Their new home sounds beautiful and I hope and believe it all fills with goodness and love for them with them and through them. Their life sounds exciting and adventurous because that's what they want and create for themselves. I hope to be able to visit them someday since they have all that room! :)

I say, "God bless them and you all". And, I say this with no regard toward any religion -Christianity, Scientology, Buddism, etc.- since true spirituality can only be found within ones "self". These are simply 2 individuals, most likely witht he same issues that we all have living here in this existence, who are trying to find a little bit of "special" somewhere in this evil, small and overpopulated world.
If they are able to adopt a hundred children, while simulataneously relieving and/or fullfilling some form of emptiness in their lives; then, so be it. Let's just concentrate on what we can do to help someone nearer to our own levels and neighborhoods -perhaps, even in our own family and friendly circles.
Spending 70 million dollars on a home will not secure happiness for them or their families; but, it will certainly buy alot of solitude and privacy for them to work out whatever issues that they and their family will face in this life. We must remember that their are less fortunate people everwhere judging and condemning everyone whom they feel is more fortunate than themselves. I had an experience overseas in South Korea where a Korean man told me that I didn't need to spend $56 dollars on eating out at Outback Steakhouse twice a week. He explained to me that it was too much money to dine in luxury like that, when I could be donating it to a homeless shelter and helping suppoly many well-rounded and nouishable dinners to the poor (children, women, and men alike...even entire families). Therefore, when you think about it all; everyone is guilty of some form of conspicuous consumption without much regard to human life -whether it be $7thousand, $70thousand, $7million, $70million, or just $7 dollars. One can always find something much less to invest upon in their every day lives detailing themselves, and inturn place the overtures into anothers life much less fortunate.
I feel sadden, frustrated, and disenheartened by the fact that society (all of us) are sitting by platonically allowing our government and media forms to fill our heads with illusions of grandeur that direct us away from the fact that our country is 2 trillion dollars in debt! If every American donated just 20% of their income for the next 2 years as a flat tax across the board in paying off our debt as a unified country; we'd all be able to someday afford country homes -or, at least, our children would have the opportunity of working toward this realistic American dream.

Yep, they need the privacy even if it does cost them! In their shoes, if I needed privacy, I would pay that much too if I had it and couldn't find anything else in an area I wanted to be in. If they wanted to live in that area and had searched for something for a year and decided it would be the best place for them considering the privacy that they need and deserve to have, then they should have it no matter how much it costs. The problem with starving people in the world, it isn't no one's fault but the one that is starving. No one owes anyone anything. We are all creators of life with our thoughts. Thoughts for good or thoughts for bad. We create around us what we think and dwell on. The greatest thing a starving person can receive is the transformation of the mind which he/she has to do himself/herself. Miracles do happen through positive thinking in unlimited ways. I know, I've received healing on a few occasions. Healing is a miracle and so can many other miracles happen in other ways just by believing. We have much more power than you realize, but you have to believe it and test it for yourself without giving up otherwise you will never personally know it and have it. What's better, to be conformed to this world of limited standard and view or transformed with the renewal of the mind towards what exists that far exceeds the world. Your Spirt has power and it is a power that moves mountains. It isn't God, it isn't Jesus, it isn't your flesh and it isn't any other life that has control over you unless you give yourself to it with your thoughts. If you think the starving people should be fed, then you should find a way to feed them rather than condemning others for not. It's not up to the rich to feed us. We are not their responsibility. Their faith and actions got them where they are at. Where has your faith and actions got you? Giving people food isn't going to change their poor mentality. They need the bread of life, and that is a true positive outlook that can do much more than food alone. We must all learn to take responsibility of our own thoughts, words and actons.
