Only in western countries will you be charged and sent to jail for killing another person. There are a lot of people being killed around the world everyday. I think you missed my point humans are animals. The world is made up of animal, mineral, plants and gases. Just because we speak doesn't make us better thinker's. We are all part of the natural food chain that makes the world work. Every thing in moderation. Do we as the human race need to cut down the rain forest to produce more cattle NO. Do we need to eat meat I believe yes. Do people need to eat 2-3 hamburgers in one sitting no. Moderation is the key to making this world work but every person on this earth needs to be educated in the environment and how humans should be treated then maybe we would have a chance at saving this plant.

If you are against wearing fur, then you also have to be against wearing or using leather or any product relating to animals. It's all the same thing. And if you are anti-fur, you must not even patronize any store that sells such products, because when you buy a non-animal product at that store, you are still enriching the murderers.

Now, I'm not against using animal products myself, because I believe, as someone pointed out, that God created the world and all its resources for mankind to use as needed. Nobody should be wasteful or hurtful, but life must be sustained.

I read a textbook today. There is a difference between humans and animals. Well, in most cases, there is.

I'm guessing that those who have posted here in favor of fur or of Angelina Jolie purchasing fur are responding out or ignorance (see, giving you all the benefit of the doubt - something some of you posted we should do for Ms. Jolie). The problem is that animals are treated as a crop to be harvested in many places of the world. They are abused, tortured, skinned alive for something they have - and people want. For someone who portrays herself as kindness incarnate, fur should be as far away from her body as possible. Perhaps those who disagree with my opinion should investigate the matter of fur 'production' for themselves instead of wasting time writing reactionary useless comments. Just do a web search for animals and China, for example. Maybe then instead of being parasitic celebrity commentators you'll be enlightened. Wouldn't that be an improvement?
p.s. there was a vague rumor years ago that the kind and wonderful Ms. Jolie neglected 2 dogs that she adopted while with Billy Bob Thornton. That all went away when she was reincarnated as a saint.

What's wrong with Angelina wearing fur-Its's just the press trying to make an issue and boost sales.The fur is NOT taken from endangered animals.It's not like fake fur which uses dyes and takes 100s of years to break down. And YES animals are killed but they are killed for meat too.The videos shown by peta are just to shock us. I mean, if a rabbit is killed for food and the fur is used, is it good or bad..! Please make up your own minds. Many people who were against fur have realised that fur is not cruel but it is the most natural and luxurious thing there is!

It never ceases to amaze me how envious many people are of Angelina Jolie. She is obviously a very beautiful woman - that is just a fact. Anyone who says otherwise is either blind, or just incredibley petty and jealous. Children are innocent, and for ANYONE to criticize her children (or anyone else's) is in extreme pour taste, and it just reflects on the hateful and classless type of person he or she is. Any parent must know that she loves her children and that the talk of her adopting children for PR is ridiculous. For that matter, any parent knows that children of all ages are carried from time to time, and that it would particularly be tempting to carry one's child to protect them with hoards of papparazzi following all the time. I know that it would make me want to pick my children up. Also, Angelina Jolie was going to foreign countries on humanitarian junkets for a long time before she ever felt comfortable letting the press know about it. When she finally did allow the press to film her humanitarian efforts it was at the request of the humanitarian agencies with which she worked, because they felt she could help them raise more money for their efforts. To try to turn that around as though she was using them to get attention is, I think, unfair to her.
