Golden Globes: The Show Will NOT Go On!
Deadline Hollywood Daily reports that NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press have cancelled the Golden Globes due to the ongoing writer's strike and the fact that several A-listers have pledged not to cross the picket lines. The awards show will not be televised, nor will the event be held at all. (The Hollywood Foreign Press is expected to make the official announcement today.)
Guess this means Rumer Willis won't be this year's Miss Golden Globes... better luck next time!
UPDATE: It's Official! The Hollywood Foreign Press has cancelled the Globes, y'all! No red carpet, no parties, just a press conference announcing the winners. Bummer!
Who do you think will win, anyway? George and Angie are the frontrunners for best actor and actress, but who knows!
