No One Else Will Hug Her!

You know how everyone loves Meryl Streep even though she played a vicious magazine tyrant in The Devil Wears Prada? Well, that's not how people feel about Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of US Vogue - and whom the Streep character is based on. Ms. Wintour, now in Paris for fashion week, looks like she could use a cheeseburger and a hug. At least she got the latter, right! That's Bee Schaffer, her daughter, who is probably programmed to give her mother affection in order for people to believe that at least somebody loves Anna Wintour!

i think sassy is anna because i'm in the biz and nobody, i mean nobody, likes or respects her.
Everyone fucking respects her thats why she ahs so much power! she is pretty much in charge of the fashion industry - I went to college with her son & she's much loved by her kids - people can have a private face & a public face.
God,this woman is the essence of what a person of position should be like.Stoic,poised and confident.Yes,Vogue would suck without Annas talents,as would the models and designers she makes or breaks.

ANNA is like the GOD in fashion. She runs that industry - she's the bitch in charged. She has the power that no one else in fashion has. A very well respected women.

Her daughter, Bee, is a very pretty young woman. She doesn't seem to be craving the celebutante spotlight like her peers. In a way, that's too bad, because I would like to see more pictures of her.

I recently had an opportunity to meet this woman and of course what a contradiction her real side is to what the media portrays---all because the 'devil' side is the one the public wants to believe. People like to find fault in incredibly successful people, it helps justify their insecurities for their lack of success.
This woman is legendary and has turned herself into a fashion icon. All women need to look at this woman for motivation, inspiration and admire her for what she has done in an industry dominated by men.
She is one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met in my life. She is exceptionally down to earth and nothing like others--who claim to be of the same social status. Her children are much like her as well, they are sweet and extremely kind to everyone.
I've been in many social situations with this woman and people would be shocked to discover when she offer a drink or coffee you can bet she'll be the one making it for you!
I like Anna wintour and I think she is much maligned. If you don't know her, you can't judge her. I have the utmost respect for her. Don't mistake Britishness and British reserve for an icy demeanour and snobbishness. She is a fine example to women .
