Just the fashions.
All awards have lost credibility and relevance.
Most younger people see an IPOD as more interesting than a small statue.
The are losing viewers by the bucket load. So the lower themselves to cheap tactics to get viewers.
Why tune in if you know the same people are going to win. That's what made the Oscars so gotda#n boring. Who the hell want to sit there and see Heath Ledger win awards because he died while filming the movie. So boring.
The Oscar's come later in a list of award shows, so why do any one have to watch it.
Funny the Oscar commettee already knew no one was going to look at their show. So they started a lot of cheap tricks to get viewers. I still am not going to watch. They sunk to the level of using the triangle. It don't get weaker than that.

I hate the Oscars. I used to watch every year. Not any more. I hate Roberts, Nicholson, Strep throat, Hanks, etc. I hate all the movies out of the weird drug infested CA.
No one cares about Hollywood except Hollywood. They should go back to what they did in the old days, and have a closed ceremony for the trade only. Hollywood is irrelevant in today's society.
