Report: Ashlee Simpson Moves In With Sister Jessica After Filing For Divorce

Ashlee Simpson has moved her son Bronx out of the home she shared with soon-to-be ex-husband Pete Wentz, and into sister Jessica's house, according to a report.

"Leaving Pete was tough for Ashlee and she needed to be with her family," a source tells In Touch. "Jessica told her she and Bronx were welcome to stay with them until she was ready to find a place of her own."

Ashlee and Bronx, 2, have been spending a lot of time with Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson while in her temporary new digs. "There have been a lot of family dinners and lots of praying," the source reveals. "Ashlee couldn't have asked for better support."

X17online spotted Ashlee and Pete smiling together just days before their shocking split was announced.

The couple cited "irreconcilible differences" as the reason for their divorce, but conflicting reports put the blame on Pete's heavy schedule and Ashlee's heavy partying.

Although all seemed amicable in the days leading up to their split, Ashlee is seeking primary physical custody of their only child while Pete wants joint custody, which could lead to a bitter court battle.
