I Pledge Ashee-giance To The Flag
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz might have been MIA on the Fourth of July - but apparently, America's still tops on their list!
After doing a little shopping at the flea market, Ashlee, Pete, and a friend hit up Toast for lunch. Pete split before we got a chance to check in (you can see him at the beginning of our video for a microsecond), but Ashlee had plenty to say to our guys!
Or, rather, Ashlee's friend had plenty to say to our guys - the pregnant pop starlet demurely kept quiet, save for a few helpful warnings for the paps scrambling to snap a shot. According to her friend's account, however, the party had just spent their entire lunch discussing a variety of explicitly American topics - the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers, and other juicy gossip in that vein! Don't you wish you could have been a fly on the wall for that conversation?
Ashlee certainly has some patriotic friends, huh?
